Dr. Liz Shea Psy.D.
As a licensed psychologist, I’m committed to helping individuals better understand themselves—past and present—and how they relate to the world around them. My approach is grounded in compassion and respect for each person’s unique path.
I work with adolescents and adults in individual therapy, and when helpful, I incorporate family sessions to support the broader context of healing and growth. I collaborate with clients to explore patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to understand how these patterns may have developed over time. Together, we look at how these experiences are showing up in the present and identify new ways of moving forward that support emotional and mental well-being.
I take a trauma-informed approach and often incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), having completed both Part I and II of training. In addition to EMDR, I draw from other evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I tailor each treatment plan to the individual—whether we're working on trauma reprocessing, building practical coping skills, or fostering greater self-awareness.
At the heart of my work is creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported to be honest with themselves and open to growth. I believe meaningful change happens in an atmosphere of trust, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that process.

Dr. Marcel Lanahan Psy.D, LMHC

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, mood concerns, or big life transitions, I combine evidence-based strategies with a down-to-earth understanding to help you build practical skills and resilience. If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens and works alongside you, I’m here to help you feel heard, respected, and empowered.
